Rebound: The Odyssey of Michael Jordan - Bob Greene

This is the first book I've read in awhile. Bob Green talks of the life of Michael Jordan, who is considered the greatest player of all time when it comes to basketball. He is also one of my favorite athletes. However, the book focuses more on Michael's life outside basketball, starting off by mentioning how his father was murdered. The trials Jordan had to face were written in this book. Jordan temporarily retired his NBA career, and followed his Dad's dream of him becoming a Major League Baseball player. That didn't go too well after 2 years of hard work at the diamond in the Minor Leagues. Despite being a stint in his baseball career, Jordan had determination throughout. He let no one influence him in any of his decisions. Jordan showed us all that we should not care what other people think if you like what you're doing.
This book was 275 pages. It took a while to finish, and I have to say it wasn't what I expected it would be like. At times I found it a little boring and.. just too much. Overall it provided interesting facts from such a driven man. Jordan still remains one of my biggest idols and role models.
