"Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you land amongst the stars."
Dear Ray, We have known each other for over twenty years. Now I try to hold back my tears. You have always been there for us through the good and the bad. I was a kid then and now I'm a dad. You have brought us to many places near and far. I will always remember you as my first car. I gave you the name Ray back in grade two. Also because my favourite colour is blue. You know my son. You know his great grandparents. You drove four different generations of our family. You kept us cool during the hot summer days of going to baseball games and practices. You warmed us up during the cold winter days of going to and from church. We had a few close calls but we've made it through. We wouldn't be here today if it weren't for you. Now I wonder... How many times did you bring us to: CC? / That area for baseball / Robinson's house Delta? Superstore? What I do know is it is time for us to move on. Thank you for these past twenty years. We already miss you. Love, Mic
Post-speech cry fest. Note: I wanted to release this on August 19th (or whenever my last day of playing League was), but a lot of things came up recently (including the birth of my son), so I am finally sharing this with you guys. My intention was never to sound like a broken record player, but here is where the track finally ends. I am officially quitting/retiring (or however you want to phrase it) from League of Legends. It's time for me to move onto more important things in life. It only took me to have a child for me to quit for good, haha. It's been over 10 years of playing League together. 10 years ago we were silly teenaged-altar servers who saw each other every weekend and spent summers together. After every in person CC event, we seemed to always gravitate to logging onto our toasters and playing a few games of our "favourite" game, League of Legends. We used to log on everyday after highschool, too. We've gone from Skype to Raid call to Discord. From Sea...
