Habits
We all have our habits, they shape us into who we are.
Seeing as I am an aspiring self-motivated individual, I am truly aware of my habits; although not everything I do leads to the outcomes I want. Below I will list out all the habits (good and bad) I have & habits I should pick up/ revive.
Current Good Habits:
-Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy every morning
-Eat enough food/servings everyday
-Eat healthy food everyday (fruit/veggies, nutrients)
-Exercise (almost) everyday
-Stretch (almost) everyday
-Document any thoughts
-Keep up good hygiene (brush teeth, shower, shave, deodorant, etc.)
-Check phone only every so often, phone no longer carried in pocket
-Pray the Rosary every night
Bad Habits:
-Watch too many YouTube videos (uneducational/uninformative/strictly entertainment)
-Play video games which I have played numerous times before, learning nothing new
-Annoy my mom
-Stay in bed once already awake
-Pick at face
-Scratch face
-Bad posture
-Minimal eye contact with certain people
-Use electronics in bed
-Hang out with the same friends too often, less productiveness
Habits I Should Pick Up:
-Practice the Piano Everyday (gradually building up more skill + time spent)
-Play the Ocarina Everyday (ditto ^)
-Write in Writing prompts book every morning
-Practice Japanese everyday
-Practice Spanish Everyday
-Practice French Everyday
-Write in blog everyday/ MORE OFTEN
-Read fiction books/ stories to help with creativity, etc.
-STUDY SCHOOL COURSE MATERIAL!!!!!!!
-Write an accomplishment + weekly review journal to stay on task + motivated
-Read a Poem everyday, write about it
-Study the Dictionary
-Study the Thesaurus
-Keep House Clean + Tidy
-Apply for Scholarships
-Enter contests for free money/prizes
-Plan out days/weeks better , Using planner, board, notebooks, calendar
-Write Poetry (because I love to), publish and share it (because I can and why not?)
-Actually have a sleeping pattern going
-Stop using electronics 1 hr before sleeping
-Maintain good posture
-good conversational Eye contact
-Smile more
On the bright side, I did stop playing as much video games as I used to, and I am super proud of myself. I realized a long time ago that I am not getting anywhere by playing them, and I finally convinced myself to only play when I need a break, playing with good friends/company, and etc.
For example, ranking in league is pointless for me since the game has changed so much ever since I started playing in season 3, and I haven't adjusted myself to it. Additionally, my dreams of becoming a pro or a streamer vanished awhile ago. By any means do I not condone any aspiring pro league players, as I realize it is not for me.
Oddly enough I did try out for my college League team and made it as a sub, but I have never had to play in a game, but oh well.
Lastly, I am aiming to add some flavour to my blog by readjusting my broken music playlist & adding a picture to every post.
